How to access voicemail and manage mailbox.

Connecting to mailbox to listen to messages

To access your UGS voicemail you can access it via one of the following methods.

Methods to access Voicemail from a Yealink Wireless Handset.  

Method 1 Press the envelope button on the handset

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press 1 to listen to new messages.

Press 2 for old messages

Method 2 

Dial 5001# 

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press 1 to listen to new messages.

Press 2 for old messages

Methods to access Voicemail from a Yealink Deskphones (T29g, T27G, T48).  

Method 1 Press the button labeled Messages (on the right of phone next to headset)

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press 1 to listen to new messages.

Press 2 for old messages

 

Method 2 

Dial 5001# 

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press 1 to listen to new messages.

Press 2 for old messages

Deleting Voicemail Messages

Once a message has been listened to press 4 to delete a message.

Forwarding a voicemail message

If you want to forward a message to another party. Once you have listened to the message press option 3 to forward

You will then hear the forwarding options and need to choose one of the below options. 

option 1 to individual

option 2 broadcast to all

option 3. broadcast to group

Once you choose one of the above 3 options you will be prompted to start recording. (Record message) this is used to notify who or why you are forwarding and is then attached with the voicemail when its forwarded to the destination group or individual box. 

then press # key after recording completed. 

Your recording and the forwarded voicemail message will then be played back.

then press 2 to confirm and then enter destination extension. (Example 1146)

You will then hear the destination mailbox greeting and get an opportunity to confirm the destination is correct 

then after you will recieve an audible confirmation the message was sent. 

Changing your Voicemail Greeting

Method 1 Press the button labeled Messages (on the right of phone next to headset) IF using a wireless handset the button will just have an envelope icon.

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press 6 Change greeting

Method 2 

Dial 5001# 

You will then be prompted for your Password (This is provided by UGS) Contact support or your sales rep if you dont recall your password.

Step 2. After entering your Pin you will be taken to the voicemail main menu. 

Press  6 to Change greeting
